Surf on the south shore today was about chest high with the best conditions we’ve seen all week. The sun was out and wind was not a factor. Still a bit bumpy in some places but overall a good day.

Less rain and more sun is the play of the day today on the south shore of Kauai. The swell is a little smaller today with waves about waist high. Tried to make a road trip to the north but the road was washed out to Hanalei because of the rain.
Anchored up in Poipu at Brennecke’s with a lot of people out and surf school in.

Still raining and windy on the south shore of Kauai this morning. There is still a small swell in the water and if conditions improve later in the morning, it could make for a fun day.
Just want to say Happy Mother’s day and thanks to all of the moms who took us to the beach when we were kids.
