Surfing in the Puerto Vallarta area during the spring and summer is limited to the south facing Punta De Mita. Located in Nayarit and Nuevo Vallarta, there are several great places to stay and surf. If you are traveling with the family that has some non-surfers then this could be a great compromise . With many resorts in the area to choose from, you could have surf in front of your room and plenty of activities for the non-surfers in the group. Check the surf spot page for a map of the spots in the area.

Hey all it’s great to be back after a few weeks of site redesign. After more than 6 years of travel we had just amassed to many surf photos and information to continue with the old format. We are now better able to share our secrets of surf travel and the surf spots we find. In addition, with Get Some Surf Photography we will be bringing the best photos of you from around the world.
