Surfing in the Puerto Vallarta area during the spring and summer is limited to the south facing Punta De Mita. Located in Nayarit and Nuevo Vallarta, there are several great places to stay and surf. If you are traveling with the family that has some non-surfers then this could be a great compromise . With many resorts in the area to choose from, you could have surf in front of your room and plenty of activities for the non-surfers in the group.
